I was looking around on ftp.netbsd.org recently, and found a
bunch of com stuff dated fairly recently in arch/i386.  Is this stuff
to be applied against -current (ie. there's no remedy for 1.2)?  I
realize that picking up patches without documentation is dangerous for
my health, but I've been wanting this patch for 1.2 for a long time.
