You mean "more than one BSD partition table", of course.  Actually, it
can.  You just use ccd to create virtual disks inside partitions, and
then repartition those in the regular way.  A small performance loss,
sure, but at least it's a solution for when you really need more than
eight partitions on a physical disk.
