Hi,
I got a 2.5 gig IDE disk. I would like to set up separate partitions for
/, /usr, /tmp, /var, /local, and /home. However, it seems that there's a
limit of 8 partitions per disk (am I correct?) and on the i386 port, both
partitions c and d mean the whole disk, and b is swap.. so I'm left with
5 'real' partitions at most?
Why is this limit there? It's pretty... limiting ;) with these large disks
we're getting now.
