Just asking...

Does anyone know anything about the 3com 3c900 PCI ethernet card?

I just got shipped a system which was supposed to have a 3c590
card, but has this instead.  Does it have any compatibility with
the 3c590.  Is there a driver for the 3c900 (or will there/should there be).

My inclination is to send it back and insist on the 3c590.

..... or ..... is there a better choice of ethernet card??
