Because there are those of us with loads of old, but perfectly functional,
PC hardware -- with only a 1.2MB drive to boot from. I know I am not
alone in saying this.
I think this falls into the same category as supporting most of the other
platforms that we do; why on earth alienate all those folks with only a
1.2MB disk drive?
