im trying to install netbsd 1.1 on my 486-50 Cyrix

the installation kernels both panic out when attempting to detect the floppy drive, just af

grrr.. damn machine is going nuts here..
anyhow.. after it loads the fdc0, it immediately panics and reboots

i tried the 1.1 kernel from the Kernels dir under binary
it booted, but had a spaz on the 1.0 fsck..

i tried a 1.2 beta kernel, and that booted ok.. but had a spaz when i ran
mountd (well when rc ran mountd)

anyhow.. my hardware is as follows:

486-dlc50   cyrix
32 megs mem
sounblaster pnp card, with built in ide controller
ide multi i/o card (primary ide)
com ports 1,2,3 and lpt1
wd8003 ethernet card
hercules gt1002 2 meg dram vlb video

any help would be appreciated immensely
