<cough> Well, yes, except those of us so deranged as to learn how to
use vi on hardcopy [sic] terminals like the Decstation/RISC glass-tty
emulator, which doesn't do screen addressing (and turns off interrutps
to scroll, to boot).

Though when doing installs on VAX-11s using a Decwriter II, I *did*
use ed.  Redrawing the current line at 1200 baud is just too slow.
