would like to know the partition/slice convention of mounting
ms-dos partitions.

what're the major/minor numbers for kernel entries?

Eric must have cheated the ms-do$ fdisk: my trick was to use pfdisk,
sometimes the linux fdisk and freebsd.  would love to hear tricks of
the kind,  there's also needs for bootmanager, my favorite one is bootany.
however, i am recently unable to compile the doZ program due to lacking
of so and so compiler under msdos...pity.
