Perhaps ed is easier for some; I've administered UNIX systems for 10 years
and all the systems I use have full screen editors :-)  I built an old
elvis source and used that to get the disklabel on, mounted it and
installed from there.   

It just seemed that since disklabel was looking for vi that I should have
it available.  A floppy image with some more utilities than fit onto the
install set could come in handy, no?
