Your message was garbled but I understood most of it.
Pc-card (formerly pcmcia) modems are all pretty much the same as far as
NetBSD is concerned, and I would be surprised to find one that doesn't work.
I have personally used the Megahertz modem. The only glitch was that it
didn't remember its settings across resets.
I'm using NetBSD 1.1 with old patches. I have two complaints. One is that
the modem gets power-cycled when I reboot, which drops the line. The other
is that the com driver sometimes gets terminally wedged.
