I'm getting a periodic panic on my box (cyrix 686).
The machine is mainly a web server running apache.

>From the core files in /var/crash I'm getting,

  vm_fault(f87e6000, 0, 1, 0) -> 1
  fatal page fault in supervisor mode
  trap type 6 code o eip f81212da cs 8 eflags 10202 cr2 6 cpl c0000000
  panic: trap

Speculation:  (this may be way off)

I also know (via experimentation) that there is a perl5
cgi-bin that is causing a large number of page faults. 
When it is not running, the "page flt" in output of 'vmstat 5'
decreases by ~100.

What else can I look for?
