IDT has recently released a 25MB/sec PCI bus ATM board. I can get hold of a
couple of these and would like to explore some performance tests between a
Windows '95 machine and a NetBSD server.

Is anyone currently working on a FreeBSD/NetBSD driver for this or the
155MB/sec card yet? The code to organize and manage the Segmentation And
Reassembly (SAR) chip looks to be pretty harry (i.e. Out of this harware
engineer's league!)

Any interest?

I'm looking at getting boards with Fiber interfaces.
