what happens to netbsd if powersaving is triggered? does it do lame things
to your filesystems? or does it just spin up/down things poorly and etc?

i'm using an ASUS motherboard and I'm interested in fooling with the power
saving bios but I am terrified of thrashing my files given my present lack
of a tape backup unit.
