You don't need a book.

The -q flag was added to tsort after 1.1.  It is used by -current's
/usr/share/mk/bsd.lib.mk.  You get an error because you are using the
new bsd.lib.mk with the old tsort, which doesn't understand -q.  To
fix the problem, you must build and install tsort before trying to
build any libraries.

You may have problems installing manpages unless you rebuild /bin/sh,
as well.
