However, they are right about the 3-button part... I bought a 3-button
Logitech "first mouse" to replace my 2-button microsoft mouse and let the
old one collect dust.
Just make sure that any 3-button pointing device you buy really is a
3-button pointing device. Some of them produce 1+3 when you press button 2,
which is ok because you can compensate by using the "chordmiddle" flag in
your Xconfig. But I've got a 3-button trackball here that's unusable
because button 2 acts as a drag lock for the other two buttons. I called
their customer service, but they couldn't even understand the problem.
