I wouldn't expect that exact result, but I believe there is a problem with
your sound blaster.  The ISA bus only has 24 address lines (which allow for
16 Mb of address space).  The Soundblaster uses DMA and is ISA, so any DMA
request that happens to be above 16 Mb will cause a problem.  I believe
NetBSD doesn't support bounce buffers, (like 95 and NT do I think).
Normally you'll get a "DMA beyond end of ISA" message, but who knows...  It
might be worth looking into.

Try taking out the SB and see if it fixes the problem..
