	I have a friend running a '386 who sometimes gets these.
	If the machine boots up without any it seems to be ok, but if
	they start in the bootup then it gets progressively worse, and
	the machine gets more & more sluggish - hanging for seconds
	at a time.
	He currently leaves the machine on all the time to try to avoid it
	:)
