In the FreeBSD camp, the most active group would appear to be the BSD
Nomads, in Japan.  There's a snapshot of their stuff, relative to
FreeBSD 2.1, sitting in:

Whether it's a useful jumping-off point for a NetBSD integration
effort I can't say, but there it is for better or for worse!
