Mine doesn't sound too great either. It sounds better when working
around what seems to be a bug in the audio driver that sometimes
sets the buffer size to a small value (like 160) when it should
be something like 2048 or 4096..

I wanted to work on improving the driver, but it seems to move
down on my list all the time.
