You could try the -current aha284x.c driver in /sys/dev/isa.  It
requires a few other changes as well, to:
	/sys/conf/files
	/sys/dev/pci/files.pci
	/sys/dev/isa/files.isa

This driver works for me, but I'm the exception since I wrote the
thing.  It uses the MI aic7xxx code just like the ahc driver does.

I have
	ahe0 at isa? port 0x1c00 irq ?
in my config file, and
	scsibus0 at ahe0
to connect the scsi bus up.
