A few things (all positive :-):

	* COOL!  ATAPI support!

	* This model seems reasonable, provided that this is sort of what
	  the hardware looks like.

	* The floppy driver should be split into fdc.c and fd.c, too.
	  That would be conducive to adding a floppy tape driver.  This
	  is just a statement of principle, which I thought I'd mention
	  considering that you suggested doing this to the IDE driver :-)
