This bug looks strikingly similar to one that mycroft and I have spent
the last several days trying to hunt down. You might want to
temporarily see if the ncr driver available on ftp.wasabi.com fixes
your problem. If it does, please get in touch with me -- your machine
might be able to help us track down the trouble we are having with the
current version of the driver.
