No, actually, it's not that.  At about the same location, it blurbs
"Plug In Keyboard", "Missing Keyboard", "Cannot Read From Keyboard", or
something similiar.

Ugh, I forgot to mention that I'm using pcvt (the one that's incorporated
in -current).
