I added a BT-549(?) ISA bus mastering host adapter to a i386 and it
performs well.  The only problem I have is that it tends to flood
the ISA bus and makes the floppy get DMA soft errors.  I'm told this
is due to the DMA goodies on the i386 motherboard, but who knows.

Would I buy another?  Yeah, I would; it's worked very well considering
how questionable some the hardware it exists with...
