I'm running 1.0 on a Gigabyte GA-486VF motherboard with a Trident
TVGA9000 video card. I've had two wierd events in the last few
days, and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen anything similar.

Last Sunday our machine went completely catonic, for no perceptable
reason. (It had been up for about a fortnight.) The screen was
entirely blank, the keyboard lights did not respond to the
num-lock/caps-lock keys, and the machine wouldn't even respond to
a ping. I had to cycle the power to restart it.

This morning the screen is again entirely blank, though everything
else seems to be working fine. It looks like I'm going to have to
reboot again, though, to restore the console display.

Has anyone any thoughts on what could be causing these incidents?
