Thanks for all these scripts. But I recently read about BSDDip 1.01 on
current-users, downloaded it, compiled it (a simple "make" does it) and
installed it. And it works absolutely great. A simple configuration file
(68 lines, script language) and no changes to "/etc/ttys" are required.

Everybody with a dialup Slip or CSlip account should try it.
