<Yes, if the drive supports it.

The onboard BIOS has LBA mode disabled. DOS works with LBA enabled
but NetBSD says "no bootblock found" and refuses to boot.
Why is LBA (what is this, anyway ?) the default when NetBSD
doesn`t seem to grok it ??

Nor am I. I`m running NetBSD/Amiga and only tried to help a
friend with his PC...
Needless to say, I am stuck at the moment %-(
