( I know this isn't exactly relevant to this list, but after the complaining
about i386 stuff in current-users, this seemed like the best one )

Could somebody suggest a good SCSI formatting program for the Intel platform?
I was trying to partition a Barracuda 2G drive with a small DOS partition and
the rest for NetBSD. It seemed like I could turn off translational sectoring
for the SCSI board ( a BusLogic 946C ), and have DOS only see the first 1024
cylinders ( I don't have the numbers in front of me but I think it was cyl
2708, head 19, sect 81 ). Unfortunately, the program I usually use, pfdisk,
couldn't seem to understand the geometry, and if I set it to the real numbers
it really gets confused. Is there anyway, I could do this with something like
Disk Manager, or would I just have to use translational sectoring anyways.

Thanks,
Brian Moore
