I am getting NFS error 55 messages occasionally (but deterministically)
when running NFS over a PPP link.  Checking intro(2), I see that error
55 is ENOBUFS, "no buffer space available or other queue full".  Which
tunable parameter should I increase in order to avoid this problem?
