It occurred to me that one way to deal with the FDIV bug *if the FPU
emulator was configured into the kernel* would be to disable the FPU,
since, in general, slow answers are better than wrong answers.

[This assumes that the emulator is (relatively) bug free, since
otherwise you'd be making things worse instead of better.  Of course,
this may be a bad assumption...]
