Is the PS/2 mouse port just a special variety of serial port?  Someone
at a local computer show said they were, but just hooking up a serial
mouse to a plug-converter frob and putting it on the PS/2 mouse port
doesn't work.  I'm guessing perhaps it's either baud rate or some slight
incompatibility that a driver hack might fix.
