Greetings-
I'm curious as to whether any work is being done with the Jornada 5xx series. I tried booting
the kernel and miniroot meant for the Jornada 6xx series, and I got this far:
[...snip...]
open file "\Storage Card\20010324-miniroot.fs"(4194304 byte).
[file system image] ->load 0x8c15a000+0x00400000=0x8c55a000 ofs=0x00000000+0x400000
load link 5330 zero clear link 1.
kernel entry address: 0x8c001000
framebuffer: 640x240 type=5 linebytes=1280 addr=0xb2000000
console = 3
[...snip...]
Looks like the immediate problem is that the kernel doesn't understand/doesn't support the serial console interface? (Just a guess, really.)
Anyway, if the problem is lack of hardware to work on, I'd be happy to loan out my device to a committed developer. I myself am not quite confident enough in my hacking ability to tackle a project of this nature. :)
Regards,
