just noticed this post about a month late.  I should really subscribe to
the hpcmips list :).

I've got some 2.0.2 binary pkgs that I build on my MobilePro here:
http://hacktheplanet.homeunix.net/packages/2.0.2/hpcmips/

they should work on 2.1 as well.  once I get a USB CF card reader that
works and install 3.0 I'll have some pkgs for 3.0 up.
