I'm using shlight to map my /usr/pkgsrc dir to //myserver/nec/pkgsrc =
along with a .5G swap file. The connections seem okay, I can see the =
pkgsrc tree and swapctl sees the swap file. I tried to do an install =
from pkgsrc, in this case 'easyedit'.=20
Pkgsrc said that my tools were out of date and gave me the commands to =
update. Entered the commands and fell out after about 30 seconds with=20
ln: /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install/work/.tools/bin/strip: File too =
large *** Error code 1
Stop.
make: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install
*** Error code 1
I did a "make fetch-list | sh" to get any dependencies ahead of time, =
didn't help.
I'm trying to set the working directory for the compile to the netowrk =
but shlight is giving me a bunch of errors followed by the same "File =
too large" error.
Any advice appreciated.
