Has been frustrating trying during 10 days to install 2.0 in my z50, =
without any success.
I can only try to install using 2x CF or ftp
a. 2xCF. If I try to mount the files before running sysinst, I get the =
messagge "No disklabel" and the computer is locked and only a hard reset =
is possible.=20
If I try to fetch the files from the unmounted msdos files, sysinst runs =
the command: /sbin/mount -rt ffs /dev/wd1e /mount2, but then I get =
the following messagge: "mount_ffs: /dev/wd1e on mnt2 : incorrect =
superblock. I do not now how to go ahead with this.
b. ftp. Tried 10 - 15 times a day during the last 10 days!!!!! 80% of =
the trials do not manage to login. When login 9 out of 10 stalled!!!!!
When I finally manage to be ready to install a basic kern+base+etc the =
INSTALL is stopped with this messagge: "Stopped in pid 8.1 (aionded) at =
0x100: invalid address".
If by any chance I manage to go any further, then the system get locked =
when 13% of base has installed and then hard reset again.=20
I do not know what I am missing or doing wrong, because the Install is =
easy menu driven.
Can anybody give me a helping hand?
Is anybody with a z50 in the UK willing to do a full install in my 1GB =
CF?
