Hi,

I use the Pretec CF wifi CompactWLAN card with my MP790 and it works
flawlessly on NetBSD2.0. Granted, it was during the sysinst boot and an
incomplete installed boot, but on both counts, its detected automatically and
I had internet access within 1min flat.

It uses Prism2.5 chipset and has the Intersil something loaded. I need to
boot up to have the dmesg though.

btw, you can get the Pretec card cheap for $20.50 incl of shipping from
HSN.com. They have a $15 off first purchase on their site hsn.com search
with google for the coupon.

There are two links on this url
http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=268&posts=8 that
has a list of wifi cards with their chipset specified. I would believe most
of the Prism2.5 chipset based cards would work well.
