I give up - it sort of worked for a while, but not at all now.

Since there are no really usable browsers for this size screen anyway 
(tried Dillo, Chimera, mMosaic), compared to elinks, or other graphical 
productivity apps comparable to the built-in WinCE ones, I might as well 
just back out X, and use it with screen (or is there some way to have 
multiple text consoles as with the 386 version and Linux?) for occasions 
that might "mesh" with its network capabilities.
