Actually, I made a mistake - the version of links Ive used uses svgalib (a
Linux console frame buffer library) along with libpng and libjpeg to
render web pages on the console. Has mouse support too.

But svgalib is dependant on PC Linux hence not portable :-/

Given my reluctance to waste disk and CPU by running X you can see why Im
interested in this - I use my 780 as a wireless ssh terminal most of
the time but occassionally I need to look at graphical web pages :-)

So a port of QTEmbeeded (with OPIE?) might be an idea...
