After looking around the net for quite some time attemping to find 
standalone applications to fill all the requirements I had and failing 
horribly, I descided to look into projects like Opie and GPE which are 
used on the iPaq and Zaurus. So far it seems like it shouldn't be all 
that difficult to cross compile the applications for use under 
NetBSD/hpcmips. Though I am currently stumbling around attempting to 
figure out how to setup a cross compile enviroment. Any help in that 
area would be appreciated.
