For calendaring / to-do lists / time-mgmt.:

sch-20010224: curses-based schedule management tool
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/misc/sch/README.html

cal-3.5nb1: Enhanced color version of standard calendar utility
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/time/cal/README.html

devtodo-0.1.6.1: Display and manage a list of items that are outstanding
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/time/devtodo/README.html

remind-3.0.22: Calendar/alarm program with interpreted input language
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/time/remind/README.html

I seem to remember running gnumeric in curses mode - I can't test this because
the binary package depends on X11 (Im sure its easy to recompile with just
curses support but I don't have the disk space to try ;-)

But I see:

sc-6.21: Curses-based spreadsheet program
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/math/sc/README.html

If you like emacs, there are probably lots of addons/plugins available that
might do something useful (Im a vi fan ;-)

But if you have X and/or GNOME available:

abs-0.8: Free spreadsheet with graphical user interface
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/math/abs/README.html

blackbook-3.0nb1: Simple address book (Gtk+ based)
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/misc/blackbook/README.html

gnome-pim-1.4.6nb1: Personal Information Manager for GNOME
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/misc/gnome-pim/README.html

gnumeric-1.0.13nb1: Spreadsheet program from the GNOME project
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/math/gnumeric/README.html

ical-2.2.1: Calendar application
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/time/ical/README.html

projclock-0.7: Time management software
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/time/projclock/README.html

siag-3.5.7: Poor man's office suite with spreadsheet, word processor, et
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/misc/siag/README.html

xcal-4.1nb1: calendar with alarms and a notebook for X11
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/time/xcal/README.html

yrolo-1.1nb1: Contact management software
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/misc/yrolo/README.html

zorro-1.1.8: Simple to-do list manager
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/misc/zorro/README.html

There's some curses-based stuff out there, you just have to look ... hard ;-)
