se> Is there any form of suspend implemented?
There is a suspend key, but nothing that actually saves battery life,
no. The problem is NetBSD cannot adjust the screen backlight. It
sticks at whatever WinCE set it to.
se> Can I determine the battery strength
The i386 so-called ``apm'' style tools should work, and you also get
battery ``events'' printed to the console at 80%, 50%, 20%. just like
WinCE.
However, it is only a distraction. There is no real battery meter in
this hardware. For example, unplugging the power supply and plugging
it back in will cause the meter to change from 50% to 80%, and the
percentages don't have much to do with how much battery you have
remaining.
se> Is the touch screen available in xwindows?
yes.
But please don't call it that---see the X manpage for a list of
acceptable names.
