That's what I have been doing. I have been looking both at completed 
items and active items and I have not been able to find a memory 
upgrade listed anywhere. I am sure they come up occasionally but it 
does not look like they come up very often. That's why I asked here.

The only place I even found a mention of a price for the memory upgrade 
was at http://www.thinkpads.com/ram.htm but that seems a bit expensive. 
Since I have not called them I am not really sure whether or not they 
even have it in stock anymore. Thank you for the suggestion though.
