i have no problem with greg h's audio-enabled kernel (1.5.1-based, IIRC,
and rolled onto a 1.5 install)... i also use a DWL-650, and it may be
enabled/disabled while using X w/no problems)...

system clock will be 'horked' on my z50 after any reboot, etc., as i do 
not put any AAA batteries in it...
