Guys:

I have a new (to me) Vadem Clio C-1000 here, with a 128MB CF card and
an NE2000 (Linksys) PCMCIA ethernet card. I would love to get NetBSD
on this thing. I downloaded pbsdboot.exe and netbsd.GENERIC, but when
I try to boot I end up with this:

...
ne0 at pcmcia0 function 0 port 0x150003000-0x1500030f port 0x15000310-0x1500031f
ne0: Linksys Combo EthernetCard Ethernet
ne0: where did the card go?
wdc1 at pcmcia1 function 0 port 0x15000300-0x1500030f
wd0 at wdc1 channel 0 drive 0: <SanDisk SDCFB-128>
wd0: drive supports 1-sector pio0 transfers, lba addressing
wd0: 122MB, 980 CYL, 8 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 250880 sectors
boot device: wd0
root on wd0a dumps on wd0b
pcmcia1: card irq 3
wd0: no disk label
pcmcia1: card irq 3
pcmcia1: card irq 3
pcmcia1: card irq 3
no file system for wd0 (dev 0x100)
cannot mount root, error = 79
root device (default wd0a): _

Does this mean that the kernel booted, but can't find the root
filesystem? I was hoping to mount it over NFS, and then let NetBSD
move it to the CF card since the utilities to do that effectively
under CE are nonexistent.

If I put in 'ne0' at the root device prompt, I get this:

root device (default wd0a): ne0
dump device:
file system (default generic): nfs
nfs_boot: 'ne0' not found
no file system for ne0
cannot mount root, error = 6

This ethernet card works without a hitch on my Linux laptop.

Suggestions? Thanks!
