Since Workpads seem to be a bit thin of the ground these days, I
wondered what the alternatives were?

Ideally, something that:

a] take PCMCIA WaveLANs
b] has enough storage/RAM to do development
(i.e. takes CompactFlash)
c] has a keyboard
and maybe X (if that's not asking too much - the homepage seems to
indicate X servers/trackpoints don't work on the x50s anyway)

Just wondered what you guys used/had success with?
