Following up on my recent post, I went out and bought an NEC MobilePro
780.  Install appears to proceed without problems, but first boot crashes
at the same point the IBM z50 did:

Must be something really obvious, as I can't see it.  I've tried booting
from the GENERIC kernel on the same dos partition with pbsdboot and with
the /netbsd kernel in wd0a.  Same results.  Any ideas?
