     I'm trying to get a socket comm. LP-E card to work in a Sharp
PV-6000.  That card seems to be on the compatibility list and is NE2000
compatible. (It works with the generic NE driver in CE).  When I insert
the card I get the following messages: 

pcmcia0:  CIS checksum failed 
Low Power Ethernet LAN Adapter, Scoket Communications, Inc, Revision A,
09/30/97 (manufacturer 0x0104, product 0x000d) function 0 not configured

     Any ideas?
