Apparently, this issue is not fixed, at least I have not received any feedback
on this. Let me sketch the problem:

I tried both NetBSD 1.4 and 1.5 on a Z50 with 48 MB of RAM, a no-name CF card
with 128MB and an Orinoco WaveLAN card. I did standard installation in both
cases. The system installed smoothly and it runs well, apart from the fact
that whenever an incoming ICMP message other than ECHO REPLY is received the
machine crashes. This behaviour can be demonstrated with traceroute (which
would be avoidable) as well as with any program making outgoing TCP
connections with the DF (don't fragment) bit set in a network which has small
MTUs inbetween. When some router between the Z50 and the server sends an ICMP
port unreachable, fragmentation needed message back to the Z50, it crashes
with the error message being "TLB out of universe".

I have seen this reliably happen on both my machine and that of a friend of
mine with identical configuration.

I am not equipped with a remote debugging environment for the Z50 and using
the console to debug this is stretching my abilities too far. If anyone needs
remote access to the console of my Z50, I'd be happy to provide with such.

Thanks,
-Hans
