No.  The LCD and backlight for the lcd turns off.  I'm talking about
the green LED on the lower right side of the keyboard.  Likely need to
figure out which GPIO that lives at and have a generic mechanism to
deal.  It would also be nice to be able to turn on the messages light
(the second LED) as well, but that's hardly a showstopper.  Given the
power consumption of the POWER LED, it isn't as big an issue as the
pccard issue.
