I seem to recall hearing that the z50 was going to use the Vrc4173
companion chip which had a builtin PC-like aux/keyboard port as one of
its many features. I don't know if this is really the case or not,
but if they have the same device as they have in the x86 versions, I'd
imagine that it would use the same electrical interface as the x86
verions used. However, this may also be just conjecture based on the
data sheets for the 4173 and the timing of the introduction of the
z50. Has anybody popped the case open to find out?

Also, I recall on the Linux CE list there was a pointer to a URL that
had extensive information about the z50 on it when IBM dumped these
onto the surplus market. I can't seem to find it now, but maybe that
would help? Also, does Linux/CE have any support for the poniter yet?
I've not kept up on that front.
